Skillville Games is a website and as such we’ll address it in that manner, the “Site.” As you can already tell we also have features and services, which are “site features.” Ok, good so far? Good. What information does Skillville Games collect?

To participate on Skillville Games we require you to create an account with us. Below is an outline of the information collected when creating that account.

Setting up an account

To enjoy our site features, we require you to establish a user account, which collects a bit of personal information from you. You provide us with your own username, if available, your email address, your country of residence (state if applicable), and a password. If you choose to upgrade your account to premium status, we require that you provide a billing address, your name, and PayPal information. Additional information may be gathered from your player profile, which you include on your own free will; such as pictures.

Cookies

No, not the nice chocolate edible kind… Rather small files transferred from Skillville Games to your computer to help keep record of visits to the Site. Cookies are a standard when using the internet. You know how when you come to the Site and your username is already filled in for you? Cookies are responsible for that; but not its only responsibility. However, you can choose to not accept cookies by changing the settings in your browser.

Email

Some of these emails you are going to want to receive, such as notifications of withdrawing prize winnings! However, we do send other emails to you such as site updates, promotions, account changes, policy changes, important notices, ect. Remember, you have the right and ability to opt-out of these email notifications, but why would you want too? I think we are great to talk too!

So how does Skillville Games use my information?

Good question, glad you asked. Aside from funding your account when providing the necessary information, we also display your username when winning a tournament. Scores, records, prizes won can also be displayed. We may use these tournament records in promotions, newsletters, or any other advertising methods.

We also collect non identifiable information such as geographic area, gender, age, and other anonymous information for data analysis, advertising, and may aggregate the information with outside parties; again non-identifiable.

It may be that you registered with Skillville Games through a partner site, which we would need to collaborate with that partner site about your personal information; however you already agreed to this.

As always, any information is subject to the law and we may need to disclose personal information in order to comply with the law.
